Model updating of a Euler-Bernoulli type beam using the response method

چکیده

In this study, the computational model is updated using an analytical instead of experimental one. Continuous and discrete parameter models a Euler–Bernoulli beam are constructed analytically computationally. To construct models, Ansys™ software employed, 1-D elements chosen to get finite element cantilever beam. solutions for continuous state-space representation employed. first step, only mass stiffness matrices considered Eigenfrequencies eigenvectors calculated. The eigenfrequencies compared. seconds non-proportional viscous damping structural introduced into model. Then, frequency response functions generated. identified generated functions. used in model, It observed that assigned identical, which shows can be accurately provided FRFs available.
